Cloudy blue pendant
Cloudy blue pendant

As promised here is the pendant that I made to go with my Cumulus Cloud earrings. I placed a bicone crystal with a sterling silver bead, and an antiqued silver flower to compliment the silver foiled glass bead. The largest bead is about 22mm. I get such great joy making jewelry and watching people wear my creations. Next I will try to make something with some colored cord I bought. Look for it and leave a comment to let me know who you are. It's not like i am fishing for comments but I do have a site meter and I know people are visiting my blog.
Actually I have a lot of nerve, but I have to ask you to stop lurking and leave a comment. I can't believe that I am posting this after years of lurking. Just recently this year to be exact I started leaving comments on blogs that I visited. It makes sense to me to leave some sort of comment to the blogger who takes out time to share a part of their life with the public. Just a thought that i wanted to put out there. Take care and leave a comment...(no pressure) :) !

Clafoutis
Clafoutis
Originally uploaded by Mslovesrain
I went over to Psy Gets Cosy's blog and she had this amazing dessert that I just have to make. It looks awesome and yeah this is my first time hearing of this dessert but not my first time eating it. I know that sounds strange but my grandma called this dessert a tart. anyway I went on Flickr and I decided to find images of clafoutis and then I went to bighugelabs and made a mosaic. I just want to remember to make this and hopeful my family or friend will keep asking me if I made it yet and eventually I will.

A ladder shelf from Marie Claire Idees
Isn't this shelf awesome, I am searching high and low for old step ladders, I just might have to make this one from scratch.
Isn't it beautiful. I believe it will paint mines blue, then later maybe white.
Grandmother's Flower Garden
Heather Bailey started on a quilt I would love to start, I have the template for this pattern in my Readers Digest Complete Guide to Needlework. That book is awesome, I bought it once Amanda from Soulemama blogged about it on her blog. Of course I got it on Amazon for less than a dollar used plus 3.99 for shipping and handling. This is the best book to buy someone if they don't already have it. I love that book!
Pottery barn entrance
Don't you love how organized this is, I just had to share this, I am planning to get this or something like it.

Dec. Fat Quarter Swap Received
This is the swap package that I sent my partner, if I previously blogged about this, excuse me. I have yet to send out my January fat quarter swap Because I ordered some fabric and have not received it yet, I have to do better planning than this.
Flickr Fat Quarter Group Swap
This is what I got from my swap partner sheyd1: 4 fat quarters a felt ball stick pin, a vintage mannequin needle book, a card full of trims and homemade stick pins that look like daisy's. I will try to take a picture of these when I get a better camera.
Broken Cottage Teapot :(
This is a picture of my broken teapot. I collect them, this is a result of harsh hand handling delicate items. It was sent insured so hopefully I will buy another one soon.
Cupcake swap at Swap-Bot
This is part of the package I put together for my partner Heather for the Cupcake World Domination swap. I made cupcake earrings. I found some cupcake polymer bears from etsy seller sassygrace.
Houses swap Bookmark
These little stuffie bookmarks were the handmade item that I gave to my two partners in the Houses themed swap that I hosted over at swap-bot.
This is my most favorite thing to make.

Pen and pen art........ collection
I love the feel of new pens and I cherish the broken in smoothness of an old pen.
Writing instruments are important, it gives us the ability to express ourselves.
That is why I started the pen swap at swap-bot.com.

Weave-It
Wow, I just love this little weave, thing-a-ma-jig!
Follow the link for more info about this wonderful vintage Weave-it that was found in a thrift store for 99 cents.
Maybe I can make one with wood and some very small dowels or nails. And maybe I can coat the nails with some kind of protectant so it wont get snagged.
Another great find for a dollar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Vintage Tea House
This is a photo from my swap partner Namolio. I got it while browsing through her photos. It was taken with a mobile phone camera. Nice, isn't it. I must ask what type of camera phone takes a good picture like this!.
Anyway enough of my incessant ramblings.
Pink and green goodness. I love the teapot, the tea cup and saucer and the pink and green polka dots. Lovely, Lovely, Lovely.
I would be so relaxed, sipping tea in a cute dainty cup, with a linen napkin in my lap. Let's not forget yummy biscuits sprinkled with vanilla sugar. Or a simple yellow cupcake with orange scented vanilla frosting.
Ciao!
